Our Mission

To provide vocational training to residents of Beit T'Shuvah and help them discover their passion and purpose in life.

We do this by teaching them the artisan craft of baking challah and developing the skills necessary to make the best possible bread.

Through our training programs, we aim to build and nurture qualities of consistency, reliability, discipline, concentration, focus, and accountability within our residents. By doing so, we hope to help them find their sense of purpose and passion, which can be instrumental in their journey to recovery.

In addition to vocational training, we also focus on building social connections and a sense of community. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents, our community, and the world around us.

Community

We believe that a strong support system is vital to the recovery process.

We encourage our residents to participate in activities that help them connect with others and build a network of support.

We see our work as not just benefiting our residents, but also as a way of giving back to the community. The concept of Tikkun Olam, which means "repairing the world," is central to Jewish values. We strive to embody this principle by giving our time and hearts to our community and helping to repair our souls in the process.
